Max Kalfjall is a Wealth Management Advisor with Pelham Financial Group, where he works with individuals and families to develop personalized financial strategies built around what matters most to them. His approach begins with listening. He takes the time to understand each client’s goals, priorities, and concerns before developing a plan designed specifically for their circumstances. Max began his career in financial services in 2022, initially drawn to the profession by his interest in financial markets. What began as a fascination with investing quickly developed into a passion for helping people use their financial resources to accomplish meaningful goals. In 2024, Max and his colleagues established Pelham Financial Group, creating a practice centered on comprehensive financial planning and long-term client relationships. He holds the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 securities registrations, as well as Life and Health Insurance licenses.
For Max, successful financial planning goes beyond numbers and investments. He finds the greatest satisfaction in helping clients recognize what may be possible, whether that means retiring with confidence, traveling more, making a meaningful purchase, or simply feeling more comfortable enjoying the life they have worked hard to build.
A “client first” philosophy guides Max’s work. He believes no two clients are alike and that financial strategies should reflect each person’s unique circumstances and priorities rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Accessibility is equally important to him, and he takes pride in building relationships where clients know they can reach him directly when they have questions or need guidance.
Originally from Sweden, Max came to the United States to play collegiate golf and competed for five years. He now lives in Spartanburg, South Carolina, with his wife, Emma, their dog, Kevin, and two cats, Ralph and Bitten. Outside the office, Max enjoys golfing, skiing, traveling, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
